Nick Hartley

Active Equity Fund Manager

Nick joined the LGIM Global Equity Desk within the Active Equity team in 2014. He is a Fund Manager for the Real Capital Builder (RCB) strategy, an outcome oriented total return fund centred around a concentrated portfolio of high conviction stocks. In 2016 he was also appointed co-head of Active Equity alongside Rod Oscroft. Nick joined LGIM from Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director within the Global Investment Research division. At Goldman Sachs’ Nick ran GS Sustain, a long-term investment research product that combined thematic research with bottom-up analysis looking for sources of alpha from equities in any sector across all geographies globally. Prior to this, he was a Principal at Bain & Company, advising corporate and private equity clients as well as accumulating extensive due diligence experience advising private equity funds on LBOs. Nick has a BA in History from St John’s College, Cambridge.
